This Girl Laughs... was a formative experience in understanding the intersection of costume design, construction, and collaboration. Working closely with the talented drapers and designers in the Pepperdine costume department, I contributed to a highly creative and cooperative process. Beginning six months prior to opening, we developed the design from initial sketches and reference imagery into fully realized, handmade garments. Each piece was crafted to reflect the whimsical, bold spirit of the production, and the experience deepened my appreciation for the technical and artistic coordination required in costume design.
