My role as full-time Lighting Supervisor at Soka University of America has been an invaluable opportunity to merge technical expertise with artistic collaboration. I oversee lighting for performances in both our state-of-the-art concert hall and our black box theatre, which together host a wide variety of presented shows and rental events. These range from jazz, rock, and classical concerts to opera and symphony orchestras. I particularly enjoy the challenge of adapting our professional systems to meet the diverse needs of visiting artists and productions, which has pushed me to think resourcefully and stay adaptable. This position has strengthened my leadership skills while allowing me to continue honing my craft in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
